Analog-to-digital converter(ADC)is the medium between digital and analog signals.With the advent of the information age,more and more signal processing will be performed in digital circuits.However,the world is analog.Initially the signals are derived from analog signals such as images,voices,electromagnetic waves,temperature,etc.Thus,the high-speed processing of information can be obtained finally.The digital circuit is developing boomingly,meanwhile,the demand for high-speed and high-precision analog-to-digital converters has become more and more urgent.Basing on the fact,had enough reason to study high-performance analog-to-digital converters.The thesis covers the basic theory of the analog-to-digital converter,the working principle and design of the folded interpolation structure ADC.The sample-and-hold circuit with the auxiliary module can finish the collection of the sampled value,meanwhile,the input signal is processed preferentially through the auxiliary module,which improves the linearity of the overall sample-and-hold circuit.In the aspect of folding circuit,the influence of mismatch problem of high folding rate on the circuit can be solved by a new three-stage structure folding circuit with a folding rate of 4,which can also eliminate the influence of coarse channels,at the same time,it adds redundant amplifiers to reduce circuit non-linear factors.This project is based on a 130 nm BiCMOS process to simulate the module under Cadence Spectre environment.The sampling frequency of single-channel mode is1.25 GHz,the Spurious Free Dynamic Range is 63.12 dB and the Effective Number Of Bit is 9.34 bit under the condition of 620 MHz input frequency.The simulation results showed that it meets the expected high-speed and high-precision subject requirements.
