Research On The Lecture Service Of Public Libraries In Prefecture-level Cities Of Jiangsu Province

As an important part of public cultural services,public library lecture services play an inexpressible role in promoting the reading and construction of scholarly society.With the emergence of new ideas and new demands,new development requirements have been brought to the public library lecture serv:ices.As a major economic and cultural province in China,Jiangsu Province is at the forefront of the construction and development of public libraries in prefecture-level cities.However,lecture services of public libraries in prefecture-level cities are affected by factors such as funds,resources,and experience.Work development is uneven,and lecture service work is also facing challenges and opportunities.This paper analyzes the current situation of the public library lecture services in prefecture-level cities of Jiangsu Province from four aspects:basic situation,organization situation,management situation and development and utilization.status quo.At the same time,through the questionnaire survey of 377 lecture service audiences,we can understand the audience's needs and opinions on the lecture service from the composition of the audience structure,the use of lecture services,evaluation and suggestions.Therefore,this paper summarizes the curr:ent experience and existing problems in the public library lecture service in prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province,including the lag of professional team construction,the tilt of the audience structure,the imbalance of formal proportions,the weak management of the audience and the lack of development and utilization.The main result of this paper is to combine the operation mechanism of the library's overall reader service and try to construct an operational mechanism suitable for the lecture service of public libraries in prefecture-level cities of Jiangsu Province.At the same time,referring to the experience of typical lecture services of other public libraries at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the optimizat:ion of public libraries in prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province from three aspects:organization management,development and utilization,and service mode.This paper hopes to construct the operation mechanism of the lecture service of public libraries in Jiangsu Province and the countermeasures and suggestions for the optimization of lecture services,to ensure the sustainable development of the lecture services of public libraries in prefecture-level cities of Jiangsu Province,and to promote the lectures of public libraries in prefecture-level cities of Jiangsu Province.Increased levels and social influence.Hope also provides some ideas for other public library lecture services in China.
