With the rapid development of intelligent electronic devices,high resolution and high quality display results pose challenges to the transmission speed of the interface.However,traditional interfaces,such as RGB interfaces,cannot meet the needs of high speeds.There will be issues such as electromagnetic compatibility.Our goal is to make interface circuits have faster speeds,lower power consumption,and strong anti-interference ability.In order to achieve this goal,the industry's manufacturers use different standard display interfaces.One of the most important interfaces is MIPI(Mobile Industry Processor Interface),which is the mobile industry processor interface.This article mainly studies and designs the MIPI high-speed interface circuit in the TFT-LCD driver chip.The MIPI circuit designed in this paper is applied to a TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 1280×720.In high-speed mode,the speed of each channel can reach 500 Mbps,and the speed of four channels can reach 2Gbps.High-speed mode and low-power mode can be switched freely to achieve the purpose of MIPI high speed and low power consumption.We also added Timing Adjustment Modules and Channel Configuration Modules to MIPI's design to better suit our own project requirements.This article will introduce the overall architecture and design parameters of the MIPI circuit.First,the upper layer structure of the MIPI circuit will be introduced so that the MIPI circuit can be understood globally.Then it introduces MIPI inner layer circuit structure,including MIPI internal logic structure(MIPI in the main CPU and slave LCD driver chip as the internal logic of the interface),MIPI's overall layout,as MIPI core channel module.Finally we introduce MIPI design parameters.This article also introduced the detailed design and analysis of various parts of the MIPI circuit,including: high-speed receiving circuit,low-power receiving circuit,low-power conflict detection circuit and low-power emission circuit analysis and design.We also analyzed in detail the high-speed mode timing adjustment,high-speed and low-power channel configuration,high-speed and low-power mode conversion.Finally,the bandgap reference circuit and LDO circuit were designed and analyzed.This topic comes from the TFT-LCD driver chip project.Based on the requirements of the MIPI protocol and the requirements of the driver chip project,the MIPI analog circuit part is completed.For each module of the MIPI circuit,we performed simulation verification.Finally,we completed the layout of the chip,the introduction of the package type,and the test verification of the chip.This article uses Power Chip 0.11?m process,the chip length is 27525?m,width is 824?m.The final test results of the chip show that the MIPI circuit can implement single-channel 500 Mbps and low-speed 10 Mbps data transmission,and the HS mode and LP mode can be arbitrarily converted to meet the design requirements.
