With the rapidly development of mobile intelligent devices, A new challengehas been presented for transmission speed between display ports to make sure largescreen and high pixel monitor work normal, and the traditional connector can notmatch transmission task for high speed data stream. A new technique MIPI for highdata converter speed to500Mbps has been introduced in this paper and provides newway for the transmission of high speed for multimedia data flow.Communication protocols of MIPI is introduced first in this paper, then thecircuits structure and relative design parameter for MIPI-DSI have been analyzed indetail, and from this the designed circuits have been provided. The design of MIPIprocessor communication protocols data connector is the main part of work andpower circuits and high or low speed data and clock and collision detection circuitsare also designed to make sure the host processor could be send information backwhen conflict or error happen, and reliability of two-way data transmission link isalso improved. LDO circuit structure which gets low influence with temperature andpower voltage has been used in voltage generator, and current module has beenrealized with self loading bootstrapping similar with Wilson current source andcurrent precise adjustment of current could be made, in this way, power noise isreduced and affection to circuits made by voltage fluctuate is also been smaller. Thispaper has been pre-simulated and pos-simulated for all circuits, and design of layoutis completed at last.TSMC0.18um CMOS technique is used in this design, and area of the chip is1204um1780um. Testing of the chip indicates it could realize data transmission ofhigh speed500Mbps and low speed10Mbps and satisfies the required parameter ofthis design.
