In the Digital Age,security of society cannot be separated from the development of monitoring technology.Whether it is electronic eye at street intersection or the monitoring probe in school corridor,or the radar equipment of military base,with the continuous improvement of the accuracy of these equipment,the attendant increase in the amount of data.Firstly,in this paper,a video capture&encoding system based on FPGA is studied for a pre research UAV project.Image information is collected by CMOS camera and sent to FPGA for MJPEG encoding and real time transmission;a host computer is connected to FPGA and take control of storage and enhancement.Based on the nature of the CMOS camera,an image enhancement algorithm based on K-MEANS is proposed,which is used to enhance the collected images.Also,the video compression algorithm is applied to the embedded terminal equipment of radar video system,compared with the improved LZW lossless compression algorithm,we can use different compression algorithms in different environments to achieve the purpose of optimal storage.
