Since China's implementation of reform and opening up policy,the country's rapid economic development,people are satisfied in terms of material after began to seek spiritual satisfaction.Public library in spreading knowledge,improve the citizen's own quality,strengthen the comprehensive strength of the national culture play an important role,therefore,we must strengthen the attention of the financial input to the public library performance evaluation.With the development of the society,the Chinese government policy began to tilt to public cultural services continuously.“”The protection of public cultural services of the People's Republic of China promulgated formally in March of this year,so countries to the attention of the public cultural services.But from the current situation,our country although organized six large-scale performance appraisal,but it is only the appraisal of public library classification work.This assessment focuses on library's hardware conditions,lack of social benefit assessment,and the inspection interval is not unified,has great randomness,used in the assessment work of data are provided by the library itself,the inspection work lack of objectivity.This paper first reviews and combed the domestic and foreign scholars on the research of the performance evaluation of public library,put forward in this paper,the theory support,combined with the content of the data after financial input to the public library to illustrate the status quo and the current situation of performance appraisal,and put forward some of the mainstream research analyzes the domestic scholars evaluation method,on the basis of this points out the advantages and disadvantages of several mainstream methods,finally paper draw lessons from the United States LJI index evaluation method,and the examination principle and application of the method are expounded,combined with the actual situation of China,empirical examination.After the LJI index evaluation method of characteristic,elaborates the limitation and the one-sidedness.In the last part of the thesis,the analysis of the appraisal conclusion financial input to the public library and put forward policy Suggestions.
