In recent years,public libraries has good development in our country with the rapid growth of China's economy.The government has increased the investment of cultural construction,which in the funding of public library is also showing increasing trend.But because of differences in the level of regional economy and regional government decision-making ideas,the fiscal funding has a serious difference.This paper compare different regions',provinces' and cities' government funding and the difference of library support through the statistical analysis of data related to financial allocation of Public Libraries in our country.Then putting forward the problems and suggestions for improvement.This paper based on the existing research results and analyzing the various areas of financial funding data.Find out that the regional differences of Public Libraries in China:preliminary Midwest lag with the eastern region.But due to the enhancement of the regional economic level and government attaches great importance to the public library level,the differences between regions gradually narrowed.The two dozen public library curator of the questionnaire,make us have a better understanding of the problems existing in our country at the present stage public library funding.First is the problem of funding,because of difference of economic level between each region is decided to investment is the main reason.And the public library funding is a greater extent dependent on local leaders' will,which also led to the difference of regional financial allocations generated.Followed problem of the system is embodied in two aspects:one is resulting in funding problems the main reason that financial allocation system of public library,the fiscal appropriation system and no clear rules and regulations,even if there are a lot of local enforcement is far from enough;second,the public library system,due to shortage of funds for Public Library Internal rigid system,which also makes many functions of public libraries is restricted,social public demand for public library was not satisfied.Last question is the serious lag of public library legislation work.Although the country has been the introduction of basic public cultural services and social security regulations,but for the provisions of the public library funding is only limited to the principle of,goal,content,for the specific requirements of the public library funding did not the government make clear provisions.This paper through the Theil index found that Public Library of our country financial allocation of regional difference and directly find the causes of financial allocation area differences of Public Library.Calculated through the collation of relevant data,differences in our country of public library funding mainly in the inter regional differences,regional differences of contribution is not obvious.This is mainly due to the various regions of China for the importance of Public Library and its regional economic level.
