The Evaluation Of The Attraction Of Public Library Professional In China And Its Empirical Study

This study is based on the social cognitive career theory,career development theory,the previous research results and the actual research,preliminarily determines 23 original indexes which influence the attraction of public library professional in our country.And then to measure whether it important or not,and analysis of survey results,finally to retain 18 formal indicators.After formal indexes are determined,to analyze the factors using SPSS statistics 17.0,the results show that there are five factor variables,respectively named "personal factors","occupational prestige","economic and cultural factors","the work itself" and "other factors".After this,the set-valued iteration method is adopted to give weights coefficient,and build an evaluation index system of public library professional appeal in our country.Then combining with the investigation and comparative analysis method is used to prove the rationality of the evaluation index system.The results show that the evaluation index system is scientific and reasonable,and it can be applied to the evaluation of public library professional appeal.With the method of questionnaire to survey our country current situation of public library career attractive,the results of the survey show that,public library professional attraction is stronger for librarians,and it has a certain but not strong attraction for the public.At last,try to find some negative factors which make the attraction of public library professional lower and put forward the corresponding measures in order to constantly improve the professional social awareness and influence,improve its social status and occupational prestige,and make public library career prospects more lighter,so as to improve the public library professional appeal.
