Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of County Public Library From The Perspective Of Library Assessment

County public libraries are the foundation of China’s public library system and an important institution that provides information services for urban residents at the county and city levels.In recent years,with the promotion of the construction of the national public cultural system,county-level public libraries have made significant progress,but there are still many problems that need to be solved in the development process.This paper takes the C County Library in southwestern China as the research object,investigates the problems that exist in the development of the county library in recent years,and proposes targeted solutions to benefit the sustainable development of the county library.This paper is divided into six chapters: introduction,assessment of public libraries in China,survey of the current situation of library construction in C County,comparative analysis of survey results in C County Library,identification of problems,proposal of improvement strategies,and conclusion.Chapter 1,Introduction elaborates on the background,significance,and current research results of the topic selection in this paper.Based on this,the feasibility of the topic selection is determined,and the research content,methods,and innovations are clarified;Chapter 2,Assessment of Public Libraries in China,discusses the assessment system of public libraries in China from both theoretical and practical perspectives;Chapter 3,Investigation of the Current Situation of C County Library,investigating the construction status of C County Library from aspects such as service efficiency,business construction,and guarantee conditions;Chapter 4,that compares and analyzes the survey results of the current construction status of C County Library with the seventh evaluation standard of public libraries to identify existing problems;Chapter 5,that proposes corresponding solutions to the existing problems;Chapter 6,Conclusion summarizes the research work of the paper.
