Books are an important tool for carrying human intelligence.Human beings are able to read to gain knowledge and broaden their horizons and make human progress and development.Books are the crystallization of human experience,knowledge and wisdom.The ancient books have condensed the whole human spiritual wealth,which is the fundamental way of preserving,spreading and extending the history and culture.A nation of reading ability decides the nations accomplishment of the high and low,while the national literacy is another important characteristic of ethnic and national soft power,as a result,reading ability directly affects a nation and even the country's future and development.Mainly through the provision of public library to read materials and space,organizing reading activity to cultivate and improve public reading habits and reading ability,make reading become an important part of personal life and lifelong hobbies,and then become the whole society a habit.Public library has its unique social value,it can with the power of the system will be as a national campaign to promote reading activities,in a sense,the public library is one of the driving force of "social reading movement".Since the 18th session of the fifth plenary session of "advocating a reading","national quality and social civilization degree increased significantly" since,as an important work of "much starker choices-and graver consequences-in" period,our country's "library reading promotion activities in full swing.But at the same time we also want to realize,our country's library reading promotion activities are still many deficiencies and problems,such as reading promotion form rigid,lack of promotion agency,the promotion of topic monotonous,etc.The existence of numerous problems causes the reading and promotion activities in the library to be difficult to form the whole cognition,which often makes the generalization effect not satisfactory.Therefore,it is necessary to study the analysis report of the system to guide the reading promotion of the library,so as to make the reading popularization of the library go smoothly.In this article,I selected the reading promotion activities of public libraries in hefei district as a case study of the basic public library.As the most important city in anhui province,the status quo of the public library reading promotion in hefei to a certain extent,can reflect the reading promotion in anhui province.This article USES the literature survey method,Internet survey method and case analysis and other methods in hefei area three public library reading promotion activity instance investigation,analysis the problems and the insufficiency,proposed the corresponding solution countermeasures and solutions,to improve the public library reading promotion activities in hefei area to guide,provide a basis for the study of the domestic public library reading promotion.This paper consists of five parts:the first chapter introduction part introduces the research background and significance of reading promotion activities,combing the domestic and foreign research results,a brief overview of the related concepts of reading promotion,a brief description of the characteristics and attributes of the research object,and introduces the research to realize the real meaning and purpose,finally listed on the research method will be used,describes the research ideas;the second chapter describes the overall situation of Hefei public library reading promotion activities,and the activities of case analysis,summarizes the activities of common characteristics;the third chapter pointed out that the Hefei area there are problems in reading promotion activities;the fourth chapter puts forward the suggestions to improve the existing the fifth chapter summarizes the full text.
