With the development of librarianship,reading promotion has become the mainstream of library services,which has attracted wide attention of governments at all levels and all sectors of society.As the main position of public cultural services,public libraries at all levels devote to the development of reading promotion,so that it becomes a dynamic and conscious library service that fully reflecting the core value of the library,rather than the past spontaneous,sporadic,supplementary service.However,with the development of information technology,people's reading habits and ways of obtaining information have changed dramatically.As a quasi-public product,reading promotion service is facing new opportunities and challenges.Some public libraries have taken action actively to adjust their functions to meet the new situation,and link the spirit of public libraries with the requirements of the new era.Following the principle of user demands as the center,public libraries actively innovate service modes from the aspects of function transformation,service mode and marketing means innovation to promote the high-quality development of public cultural undertakings.This paper takes the innovation of reading promotion mode in Public Libraries under the environment of "Internet +" as the research content.Based on the theory of public cultural service and the theory of public goods,the author selects the reading promotion brand activities of the Yangtze River Reading Festival launched by the Hubei Provincial Library as the research object,and comprehensively applies the methods of literature reading,case analysis and comparative analysis.Starting from meeting the needs of public reading,this paper explores the innovative mode of reading promotion in public libraries from three aspects: the main body of providing reading promotion services,the media and the ways of promoting reading,based on the existing problems in the process of providing public cultural services in public libraries.Based on the characteristics of Internet,the author innovates and explores three modes of public library's reading promotion.Firstly,Integrative reading promotion mode including regional alliance of public libraries,cross-border cooperation and reader autonomy.;secondly,regarding the Internet as a reading promotion content,media and means,the author proposes the new platform-based reading promotion mode;thirdly,from the service publicity level,the author put forwards the all-media publicity-based reading promotion mode by analyzing the traditional media innovation and the use of new media publicity.
