In recent years, the overall economic situation is poor, under the large environment, the competitive between enterprises in the same field becomes increasingly fierce. Faced with such fierce competition, it is imperative to improve the ability of all aspects of the enterprise, improve employee operational capacity, professionalism and the like. Therefore, Lenovo Group aimed at improving the overall capacity of employees, hoping to design and develop a staff training management system that could achieve a unified management for staff training and re-training, design new staff training and management model to promote employees to enhance their overall quality, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.In order to facilitate the development and maintenance, Lenovo staff training management system uses the currently used SSH framework and MVC design pattern for development. In addition, the system is based on B/S model, that user interact with the server through a browser, and it uses middleware technology to support the operation of the system. Throughout the whole development process, the language is JAVA-based and uses JSP development technology, and the database uses the SQL Server 2014.The main functions implemented by the system are training resource, training requirements, training plans, training activities and system management. Among them, the training resources management function includes institutions, teachers, materials, facilities and curriculum management; training requirements management function includes demand survey definitions, reporting and reviewing of departmental requirements, employee demand for reporting and review, and training needs query; Training plans management function includes the development and approval of sectoral training plan, corporate training program development and approval as well as training programs inquiry; training activities management function includes application, approval, publication, registration and assessment of training activities, and records management; system management function includes parameter settings, the type of training, training reporting, and analysis of common queries.Through the development and practice of the system, it has promoted the improvement of the Lenovo Group's internal overall quality of staff, employees can timely view into enterprise training resources, so that they can select appropriate training activities for training; employees can submit their own training needs to the enterprise, so that enterprises can arrange training activities according to the needs of the employees;and after identifying to participate in the training programs, employees can also view the training plans and feedback and so on. In short, the realization of the system greatly improves the overall quality of staff and personal initiative, creativity, and promotes the sustainable development of enterprises and a good market competitiveness.
