Chemical is an indispensable part of people’s production and living, but it has many characteristics such as inflammable, explosive, toxic and harmful so we call it a dangerous chemical. It is a very important and necessary job to solidly make a management of dangerous chemicals, avoid the accidents and cases endangering public security caused by storage or improper use of dangerous chemicals, implement the dangerous chemicals management shifting from traditional model to modern model based on the means of science and technology and establish a information system with strong practicability, advanced technology and meeting the public security organ’s regulations related to dangerous chemicals management.With the analysis on the present situation of dangerous chemical management at home and abroad, the thesis, starting from the actual situation, designs and implements the information system of dangerous chemicals according to the requirements of dangerous chemicals management of the public security bureau. The work embodies mainly in three parts of analysis, design and realization of system. As for system analysis, the first one is about demand analysis, requiring the performance accurately and timely and having the characteristics of openness, scalability, usability and maintainability; the second one is about feasibility analysis, demonstrating the feasibility in three aspects of management, technology and economy; the third one is, using E-R model to show the conceptual structure, to abstract the real world objects obtained in the demand analysis to a conceptual model through synthesis, induction and abstraction of user demand; the fourth one is to analyze the entity involving in the system and the logical relationship of managing and being managed among the entity objects and the data flow among the main processing modes in the system; the fifth one is the functional requirement analysis, making registration and management system needing to establish in the system clear to realize the functions of monitoring and services. As for system design, it has carried on the detailed design of database, input and output interface. As for system implementation, the overall development of the system uses the technology of ASP, NET and MVC, realizing the separation of the data and the view and the background database is SQL Server, realizing the safe connection between public security and enterprise by the public security VPN network. The development tools used are VS, Net2013, DreamWeaver CS5, VSS (version control), Firework and Photoshop; the programming language is C#3.0. After completed, the system is proved to conform to the application requirements in four aspects of functionality, correctness, reliability and security after the black box testing of the supervision system (public security) and information system(enterprise) of dangerous chemicals.
