Problems of Hazardous chemicals Transport in transit have gradually become the focus of industry and government, and also concerns the safety of people’s lives and property. Therefore, using more advanced and effective monitoring method in transit of hazardous chemicals, is necessary. At present, relevant vehicle sensing system of achieving monitoring in transit of Hazardous chemicals already existed in China. But the problems of high maintenance cost, hard fixing and weak versatility are widespread. To solve these problems, this article put forward one project named The Wireless Sensor NetWork Design of Hazardous chemicals monitoring Based on Zigbee technology. The Design combines many wireless technologies such as zigbee, bluetooth and RFID, and improves the problems on existing vehicle sensing network including reducing node power consumption, improving maintenance way designing universal sensor interface and optimizing protocol and so on.1. Reduce the power dissipation. This topic designs switch curcuit on hardware and Strategies about reducing consumption as far as possible on software.2. Improve maintenance way. The maintenance of node will be more Convenient by designing interfaces of data management in the node and host computer software.3. Design sensor interface. After inducing the type of a series of signals, this topic provides a set of universal signal group and designs the sensor interface base on it.The test result of hardware and software of this topic shows that the project of zigbee wireless sensor network on monitoring of hazardous chemicals is feasible.but on some hands, Such as power control, data connection between node and PC, it still has room to improve.
