Clinical Observation Of Hui Needling Acupuncture On Backache Caused By Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:Through obseving the clinical efficacy on the patients with Lumbar disc herniation treated with Hui needling acupuncture, we try to search a safe,quick and convenient treating mothod.Methods:Subjects were LDH patients collected from May,2012to July,2013in rehabilitation department of Zhang zhou Hospital of T.C.M.Totally60cases were included and randomized into two groups with30cases in each group, named treamtment group and control group.Finally,all of patients completed the process.Evaluated clinical symptom scores with VAS scores and lower back pain JOA scores before treatment.The acupoints are mainly lumbosacral acupoints or ouch points(local signs of tenderness or sensitive points,cramps) with Hui acupuncture method in the treatment,therapy three times a week,every other day1time,10times as one course of treatment.Control groups:the same points were selected as the others with neutral supplementation and drainage method,time of therapy was same as above.All the patients must be evaluated respectively with VAS scores and JOA scores after treatment.The data collected were analyzed by SPSS18.0statistical software packet.An then gender balance was compared between two groups by X2test.The variable data which obeving the normal distribution was analved by t-test.The age,duration,VAS score and JOA score,were compared between and within the two groups.The overall clinical efficacy were compared by rank sum test.Results:1.General Information:There is no significant difference of the age,sex,duration and other clinical data in treatment group and control group(P>0.05).2.There is no significant differnence of VAS score and lower back pain JOA score in treatment group and control group before treatment(P>0.05).3.There is significant difference of VAS,JOA scores within their own group before and after treatment(P<0.05) indicates that the two acupunctures is methods,both can significantly improve low back pain symptoms of Lumbar disc heriation. 4.There is significant difference in VASJOA scores between the treatment group and the contuol group(P<0.05), indicates that the Hui needling acupuncture is better than more effective than ordinary needling acupuncture.5.Overall curative effects:after a course of treatment,the total effective rate is90%in the treatment group,and83.33%in the control group,the significant efficiency is53.33%in the treatment group,and is23.33%in the control group,Comparison of the two groups curative effect has significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Both Hui needling acupuncture and ordinary needling acupuncture can significantly improve backache and other clinical symptoms in Lumbar disc herniation.2.Hui needling acupuncture is more effective than oridinary needling acupuncture,and can be safe,quick and convenient treating method in Lumbar disc herniation,worthy to recommend its clinical use.
