| ObjectiveTo explore the curative effect and safety of paraacupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation of blood stasis type, enrich the conservative treatment scheme of lumbar disc herniation, and make patients choose better treatment scheme under the support of practice.MethodsA total of 60 eligible subjects were selected from the outpatient and inpatient department of acupuncture and Rehabilitation Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese medicine or the second hospital of Guangdong Province of traditional Chinese medicine. It is necessary to meet the diagnostic criteria of blood stasis type of lumbar disc herniation, and the limited date of treatment is from May 2020 to January 2021.After the inclusion, they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to 1:1.It was a blind treatment of patients, that is,patients do not know their own grouping and specific treatment. Both groups were given Mecobalamin tablets orally to relieve symptoms to strengthen the compliance of patients. The control group was treated with ordinary electroacupuncture, and the experimental group was treated with side acupuncture on Ashi point on the basis of the control group. Two groups were treated once every other day,3 times a week as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment,6 times of treatment. We use Vas scale,JOA score table and TCM syndrome score table to collect relevant data. The changes of vas scale were recorded before treatment, after the first treatment, after the first course of treatment and after the course of treatment to evaluate the analgesic effect of the two groups. We record JOA scale and TCM syndrome score table before and after treatment to evaluate lumbar function and TCM syndrome.Excel software and spss20.0 software were used for data processing and statistical analysis to compare the difference of curative effect.ResultsBefore treatment, the general information and scale of the two groups were evaluated for comparability. The results showed that the gender, age, course of disease and data before treatment were similar(P<0.05),suggesting the baseline was comparable.VAS score:The pain of lumbar disc herniation can relieved by the two treatments(P<0.05).After all treatments,The analgesic effect of the two groups was similar(P>0.05),but after the first treatment,The pain relief of the experimental group was better(P<0.05),and after one course of treatment, the score was improved more in the experimental group(P<0.05),indicating that the analgesic effect of the test group worked faster, can significantly shorten the course of treatment.JOA score:the two treatment schemes can improve the lumbar function and quality of life of lumbar disc herniation(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better(P<0.05).TCM syndrome integral table:the two treatment schemes had a remission effect on TCM Blood Stasis Syndrome, and the improvement effect of the experimental group was more significant(P<0.05).Total effective rate:the total effective rates were 93.33%and 90.00%,and there was no significant difference in the overall efficacy(P>0.05).Safety:there were no adverse events in the two groups, indicating that the two treatment methods were safe.ConclusionIt is an effective method to treat prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc of blood stasis type by acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture and common electroacupuncture. But the side acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture is superior to the conventional electroacupuncture group in terms of immediate pain relief, improvement of lumbar function and blood stasis syndrome, and the onset of effect is faster than that of ordinary electroacupuncture. It can effectively shorten the course of treatment, and has certain clinical superiority. Thus the method is recommendable. |
