Along with rapid development of the network communications and informationtechnology,"combination of three nets" show unprecedented urgency. How to realizethe resource sharing and improve the service quality is the big challenge of the"combination of three nets" that has to face. The first step that cable TV system needsto take in the unification process is to finish bidirectional transformation. In theprocess of bidirectional transformation will introduce a large number of newequipments, and the equipment inevitably appear all kinds of fault in the process oftransformation, the IP data network alarm management system that can meet thepractical requirements has become an urgent need.SNMP protocol is a widely used protocol because it is efficient, simple.Thisalarm management system used trap way tha the equipment will reported its faultinformation when meeting fault in collecting alarm information.Communicationbetween the equipment and the server adopts manager/agent model of communicationthat should abide by the SNMP protocol.Alarm management is an important part of the fault management.Alarmmanagement includes alarm information collection, the alarm information filtering,the alarm information display and alarm information processing function.Based on thedetailed understanding of the business requirements, This paper designs and realizesthe alarm information collection, the alarm information filtering, the alarminformation display and alarm information processing functions.The alarm shock thatprobablely result in a large number of false alarms will occur in alarm informationcollection. This system make use of "one ticket veto method" to counteract alarmshock.At the same time, in order to effectively diagnosis fault alarm, accurate positionof alarm source,this paper adopts alarm correlation analysis technology based onassociation rules when diagnosis and locates alarm.On the basis of the above, this paper developed IP data network alarmmanagement system based on SNMP. The whole system is divided into client、 server,and probe, the client is mainly responsible for showing the user operation interface and operation results, the server mainly realizes analysis of acquisition data andprocessing logic, the bottom of the probe is responsible for acquring equipmentparameter data. In order to simplify the development process, the system adopts J2EElightweight frame: Hibernate, Spring. The communication between client and serveror between the server and probe is based on Java RMI and JMS. Operation resultsshow this alarm management system can quickly acquire alarm information, accuratepositioning alarm source, effectively counteract alarm shock. At the same time,thesystem can timely send alarm information to receivers by voice, E-mail, SMS, finallythe administrator will process them.This alarm management system will be used in the hunan cable group IP datanetwork integrated network management system, in order to collect alarm information,counteract alarm shock, filter alarm, analyze alarm information,localize alarm source,display alarm and process alarm, improve the network operation and maintenanceefficiency and ensure newwork to be normal.
