With the rapid development of information technology,digital TV has been popular and digital TV network has become increasingly large and complex,how to efficiently monitor and manage the equipment in digital TV network has become the top issue facing by the radio and television departments.To meet the demand for monitoring and managing the equipmentin digital TV network,almost all of the large manufacturers of digital TV equipment at both home and abroad have developed their own centralized network management system,they have powerful network management function,have realized systematization and modularization,and can be developed further,but the development of such system requires a lot of developers and long development time.Small and medium-sized enterprises generally have no such condition.So development of special digital TV network management system based on their company's characteristics has become the common demand of small and medium-sized manufacturers of digital TV equipment.According to the actual needs of a certain enterprise,this topic developed a Trap Alarm System which can meet the requirements for monitoring and managing the equipment of the company.Firstly,this topic studies the development of digital television,the structure of digital TV front-end network and network management technology,analyzes the characteristics of the existing digital TV network management system,and researches the related technology to develop the network management system.Secondly,this paper discusses the design scheme and implementation of the system.The system is based C/S architecture,server and client communicate to each other by CORBA.Server is mainly responsible for monitoring the performance of digital television network equipment through SNMP,and mainly realizes the function of Trap alarm receiving and dealing,automatically discovering network equipment,data persistent storage and so on;The client on the one hand,gets the alarm and other information data through the interactions with the server and shows them to the user,on the other hand receives commands of the user and forwards them to the server to implements the function of controlling the server and the network equipments.The client mainly realizes the display function and data collection function of the system management module,the resource management module,the alarm management module and the topology management module.Thirdly,this paper introduces the test result of the system.At this time,the design and development of the system have been completed and passed the tests,basically meeting the requirements of the enterprise.Finally,the paper shows the summarization and expectation of the paper work,points out the deficiency of the system in design and implementation and point's out the subsequent improvement direction.
