In this high-tech era simbolized by knowledge economy and information technology, and the digital and networked environment,the accomlpishment and professional competence of staffs is already an important factors for the development of mordern library.As the primary factor,library officials have the greatest effect on library services.So it's sensible to treat library officials as one of the most important resources and affiliate this concept into morden library managemengt system.How to organize and manage staffs to improve their effects more conpresively and obtain more effective human resources management has grew to be a new issues.Human resources management,especially human resources management in business is an old but always new hot topic and has developed to be a mature system.How to introduce modern human resources mamagement based on itself s condition is one of the directions that library managers shoub make efforts in. Henan,as a populous province,has many universities and university libraries. Howener,according to author's investigate and survey,resarches on the hunman resources of university libraries in Henan province are vary few which is not corresponding to modern facts of university libraries in Henan province.By lots of methods such as surveying literatures,on-the-spot investigation,distributing questionnaires and statistical analysis,author of this article investigated the modern condition of human resources and its management of university libraries in Henan province comprehensively,analizesd the reasons and fond strategies for the management of university libraies in Henan province refering to human resources managment theory in modorn management theory.What author has done will provide some reference informations for introducing advanced management concept to human resources management of university libraries in Henan province.This article has four parts:The first part is mainly talking about the cencept and characters of hunman resources,the significance and contents of human resources of university library in Henan province. The second part mainly shows the two questionnaires about general condition of human resources of university library in Henan province and psychology of university library staff in Henan province. Author has analyzed the resoults of two quentionnaires seriously and carefully which revealing the general condition of human resources of university library in Henan province.The third part is mainly concerns about the questionnaires. The questions that questionnaires review and found during on-the-spot investigation are discussed in details.Based on the questions questionnaires review and modern hunman resources theory,a series of a Series of suggestions was proposed on the deficiencies of university library in Henan province in human resources management.
