Snmp-based Dos Attack Defense Systems Integration Management And Realization

Network management has become a key technology of the network development, so the research and development of the network management system is very important. The common network management software at home and abroad is not entirely suitable for a particular network environment, so we need to develop a network management system meeting the actual needs of the specific network conditions. According to the DoS attack defense system requirements in the project, the article designed and implemented a network management system based on SNMP, achieving the integrated management.In this paper, the main research works are as follows:(1) First, the article introduces the basic concepts of network management. Followed by a detailed description of the SNMP protocol, the article focuses on the three important components of SNMP, which are SMI, MIB and SNMP protocol. This is the theoretical basis for achieving a network management system.(2) Through the in-depth detailed analysis of the DoS attack defense system management needs, the article designs a multi-level and multi-module network management system. The article describes the overall framework of the system, and describes the functions of each level and each module of the network management system. The overall implementation plan is determined and the system development tool is briefly introduced.(3) According to functional requirements, managed objects need to be collected are designed and MIB is extended. The article gives the basic method, the main function and the implementation code of the MIB extension. The SNMP interfaces between the network management system and other subsystems are described.(4) The specific functions and implementation of the three core modules of the network management system are analyzed. In the configuration management module, the SNMP-based implementation of reliable data transfer is studied, which is an innovation of SNMP in data transmission applications. Meanwhile the methods to query and set configuration parameters are introduced in detail. In the performance management module, the contents of the system performance statistics are designed based on the defense strategy of the system, the performance managed objects and performance parameters are analyzed, and a graphical report generation method is described. In the fault management module, the article gives the system resources alarm and monitor communication line interruption method.(5) The network management system interface is designed and developed.Network management system designed in this paper is simple, practical, unity, visibility, and easy to extend. The network management system has achieved the configuration management, performance management and fault management, so as to meet the requirement of the DoS attack defense system management and control the operation of the defense system effectively.
