Experiment is the basis of theory and method validation. The physical experiment is the basis of physics, but also the important content and teaching methods of physics teaching, has the status and irreplaceable role in Physics Teaching in middle school. Along with the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform, strengthen the cultivation of high school physics experiment teaching and the ability of the students, the implementation of quality education is the main way, has very important meanings to the middle school physics teaching and students’ future development. As the western backward areas of Gannan Tibetan areas, physics experiment teaching in middle school. Most of the Tibetan Chinese bilingual teaching mode, for Tibetan and Chinese bilingual teaching faculty shortage,to the teaching of middle school physics experiment generally inadequate attention,resulting in physical laboratory and limited equipment to fully into play its role, the impact of the cultivation of students’ practical ability.In this paper, through a comprehensive investigation of the present situation of physics experiment teaching in the Middle School of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, to understand the status of physics experiment teaching in minority areas.According to the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gannan Tibetan Chinese bilingual physics experimental teaching, physics laboratory, experimental instruments and equipments and attention to the physical experiment teaching,students to interest in physics experiments, to carry out physics experiment teaching situation and existing problems such as. Through literature, questionnaire,interviews and in-depth analysis on the current situation. The results showed that the importance of experiment teaching is not enough, lack of Tibetan Chinese bilingual teachers, on the experimental teaching of less investment, the laboratory instrument equipped with an insufficient number, unable to meet the needs of experimental teaching, most schools attach importance to imparting knowledge, principle and procedure of the master, ignore students’ practical ability training and experimentalinquiry physical phenomena.Only strengthen on(Tibetan-Chinese Bilingual) pay attention to the teaching of physics experiment in middle school, training high level of Tibetan and Chinese bilingual physics experiment teaching staff, increase funding and physical laboratory construction, to improve the experimental teaching conditions, strengthen experimental skills training, improving teachers’ practical ability, stimulate students’ interest in practice, in order to improve the teaching quality of physical experiment.
