Research On Bilingual And Multimedia Courseware On The University Physics Experiment

Because of China joining in WTO as with the rapid development ofeconomic globalization, the higher requirements for higher education have been putforward. In order to adapt to the development of economic globalization, Chinesemany universities try bilingual teaching. University physics experiment is arequired course that students study science experiment by the numbers after theirentering university. Because the bilingual teaching of university physicsexperiment course is good to the cultivate student international exchanges andcooperation ability, it plays an important role in education of excellent engineer.The concept, mode and characteristics of computer assisted instruction wereexpounded. The concept, pattern and significance of bilingual teaching werediscussed. The purpose and significance of university physics experiment coursewere pointed out. With the help of reading the literature and investigating, thepurpose, significance and development of bilingual teaching of university physicsexperiment were expounded and the problems in bilingual teaching of universityphysics experiment were put forward. Computer assisted instruction is the feasiblescheme to save the problems in bilingual teaching of university physics experiment.The multimedia bilingual teaching coursewares were studied systematically.The principle, process and method to develop multimedia bilingual coursewarewere discussed. Two multimedia bilingual courseware on the application of airtrack and Michelson interferometer adjustment and application were developedaccording to above-mentioned theory. They have both simulation laboratoryfunction and electronic bilingual textbook function. Students can make use ofsimulation laboratory function of coursewares to preview before experiment andreview after experiment. Teachers can use electronic bilingual textbook ofcoursewares as PPT to teach. Teachers and students can use electronic bilingualtextbook of coursewares to learn major English. The coursewares can provide helpwith bilingual teaching of university physics experiment because electronicbilingual textbook of coursewares have translating function.The multimedia bilingual teaching coursewares are good at university physicsexperiment teaching.
