With the decrease of the label-chip cost and the improvement of technology of RFID system, RFID is used in every aspect of our lives and bring us convenient and safe way of life. At present, the main application fields for RFID contain object identifiers items and indoor radio localization.In this paper, aiming at the RFID system in indoor locating application fields, this paper introduces some common indoor locating methods. Make an analysis of a method which is called the signal angle of arrival. Make an introduction of how to use the adjacent signal wave to have the signal angle of arrival, and then get the two-dimensional space coordinate of the tag. In order to realize this thought, this paper brings forward a new method of AOA can be based on RFID positioning system, this system includes an antenna, reader, a group of AD converter, a computer terminal handling. In this system, the ADC is a key part, and in this paper we use an ADC which has 10 bit precision and can work in 80MHz frequency.In this paper, with SMIC 0.18um CMOS technology, the circuits of bootstrapped switch, fully differential-output gain boosting amplifier, sample-and-hold circuit, precision multiply-by-two circuit, new type high-speed comparator, two-phase non-overlapping clock and digital error correction circuits are completed in cadence. In these circuits, the bootstrapped switch can reduce the resistance of switch and is used in high performance ADC. The fully differential-output gain boosting amplifier has very high DC-gain value, so using this structure can increase the limited work frequency of ADC. The high-speed comparator also increases the limited work frequency and improves the AD coveter's performance.After the circuit design, this paper introduces the layout design of the S/H circuit. Parasitic extraction and post-simulation have been completed based on"SMIC MMRF 0.18um 1P6M 1.8V Process". In the layout design, we should pay attention to mix-signal circuit. This paper introduces how to reduce the link between digital circuit signal and analog circuit signal. After the completion of the chip-flow, we make use of the Protel 99SE software to design the test PCB board. Adding the related electronic components to the PCB board, we can make a test of the chip and give the analysis of the test result.
