With the development of computer, network and communication technology, traditional automatic meter reading system has not been satisfactory because of its simple structure and functions, and the automatic meter reading system with embedded system is becoming the leading direction. The communication between remote terminal and client is difficult to solve in the larger and larger embedded meter reading network. Web service eliminates the limits among different operation systems and simplifies the operation of clients. This paper presents a new electrical monitoring and control system based on embedded system and web service, and designs its circuit and software.The hardware platform in this paper is a core board with LPC2210. The peripheral circuit is designed first, and then uClinux operation system is reduced and transplanted to the hardware platform, all of this construct the development environment of application software.The application software of the remote electrical terminal is developed by gsoap software kit including data acquisition and the realization of web service. Every remote electrical terminal is designed as a network node with a net address in order to integrate the distributed resources. Client is developed under Visual C#, it is used to remote control, acquire and analyses electrical data and save it to database according to the requirement of clients.This paper also presents the application of wavelet decomposition method in the analysis of electricity consuming rule and the detection of singular signal. The simulation results show wavelet analysis is a powerful tool in analyzing electrical signal. It could be used both to look for electricity consuming rule and to detect singular signal caused by electrical failure.The remote electrical terminal presented in this paper is flexible because it is based on embedded web service technology. Clients could develop application software without considering the communication protocol, thus the flexibility, sensibility and robustness of the system is promoted greatly. |
