| Remote smart automatic meter reading refers to the use of a combination ofcommunication technology and computer software to automatically access andprocessing of data table. It’s based on technological development, and improves thelevel of enterprise management and automation. It can avoid the disavantage of thetraditional manual meter reading, and accurate records and backup related data quickly.Because of computer software, reducing the difficulties of long-term storage of paperdocuments and improve management efficiency. Because of the advanced technologyof remote smart automatic meter reading and broad prospects for development, theworld of smart automatic meter technology is also booming.At present, the main waysof remote smart automatic meter reading have power line carrier, prepaid IC card,wireless communication network, RS-485bus,and so on.This article presents a design program of remote smart automatic meter readingsystem set by the RS-485bus, the mobile communication network and web-site datamanagement platform. Remote smart automatic meter system can avoid the high costof remote network of wiring, use the mobile communication network transmission ofelectric energy meter data to the internet through web-site data management platformto operate and manage the process of meter data,it has a strong real-time, highreliability, low cost, easy to popularize.Remote smart automatic meter reading system is mainly composed by users’meter, collecting terminals, front end processor, computer management software. Thispaper elaborates the set up of the data communication link between the variousfunctional parts.This article describes the design concept to design process the development ofremote management software, design ideas and other aspects. Finally, it gives somerecommendation to improve and enhance this system. |
