With the realization and deepening of the international process, the shortcomings of original human resourse management in the port become more prominent and to use the modern human resource management to replace it has become an trend. Therefore,to establish a viable and powerful human resources management information system in the port has been inevitable.Currently, the platform of the human resources information management in the port isn't mature yet. Although having advanced idea it is lack of available methods to manage human resources information which fit its characteristics. It is mainly reflected by following things:optimization problems, scattered data which is hard to manage timely,uncertain data which is difficult to monitor,lower level of the information integration,and deviation from the real meaning of the information.In this paper, to solve above problems and make the human resources management the port more systematic and scientific it designs a human resource management information system in modern enterprise. First, the paper analyse the system with structural analysis methods. Second, it discusses the design of the system in architecture, overall framework and database to provide the basis for ite implemention.Then, this paper uses SQL database to manage system, takes Java and JSP as language and JBuilder as platform and realizes a combination of B/S and C/S system. Finally, this paper makes a security strategy that fit the system.This human resources management system use advanced computer technology to manage human resources in the port. It has many advantages such as convenient inquiry function,high reliability,huge memory capacity and good security performance .Human Resource Management Information System of the port make the work of human resources management more standardized,scientific, systematic and regularized. The application of Human Resource Management Information System improve the level of human resources management of the port and increase the efficiency of the entire department.
