The development and design process of Parts Library geometry program interface is expatiated emphatically in this paper, and standard parts library system. Beginning with the analysis of parameterized geometry program, study and digest the fundamental of PLIB-31,and develop parameterized geometry program which accords with PLIB, and convert parameterized geometry program to corresponding three-dimensional model in aimed CAD system.During the design course of the standard part library system, with the mechanism of the , establishes the geometric structure parameter database complying with ISO13584 using SQL Server 2000 and realizes information input of a few standard parts, such as bolt, nut, gasket and so on.In order to advance efficiency, at present, Parts Library exist in many commercial CAD systems . Parts Library's data format is mostly not accord with standard, so it blocks Parts Library's data exchange and share among different CAD system to some degree.This paper described how to convert geometry program which accords with ISO13584-31 to corresponding three-dimensional model in aimed CAD system recur to geometry program interface, accordingly parts library is opened and shared.
