Research On Standard Part And Feaure Library Of Draw Dies Based On Unigraphics

CAD technique is widely used in the field of die .But for many reasons, it hasn't played its role fully. It is very important to promote the tool industry to strengthen the study in tool CAD.Standard part and feature library system development for automobiles'draw dies should be based on the actual work manners and work contents.This thesis concludes the procedures and work contents about the draw die design of HAMC in detail. On the basis of being familiar with the functions of Unigraphics system,the thesis elucidates the work manners about the CAD software sustaining the draw die design . The theory and realization about the CAD function are also discussed. To realize the target of raising the quality and the efficiency of the die design the theory of the STPart & Feature Library on the basis of"Unigraphics"which has the function of establishing the characterized 3D parametric solid model has been developed.Following studies are included in the thesis:1. The developing platform is chosen based on the analysis the design procedure and work contents about the draw die design. Illustrating the design procedure and flowchart of the die use the function of the system platform. Design the general structure with full functions for the system and programming.2. Improve the parametric modelling function of the sustaining platform on the basis of the software's function and further studying the realization method of standard parametric model. Sort and summerize the standard parts of the draw die. Add the management function for the standard part library.3. Conclude and class the familiar feature in structure design of the non-standard parts used in the draw die on the basis of studying the feature CAD method. Summerize the feature restriction parametric according to the actual experience and build up applied parametric feature library of the draw die combined with the feature design function of the Unigraphics platform.
