This project runs on Windows2000 platform, On the basis of CAD/CAM/CAE software Unigraphics NX that EDS company developed, make use of UG's strong parametric modeling technology and secondary development languages offered by the secondary development module, UG/OPEN GRIP, adapt the method that setting up models through programming and develop three-dimensional parametric machinery design standardized part library.In the course of research of the project, some key technologies related with the developing of the three-dimensional standardized part library, such as parametric technology, characteristic modeling technology, data base technology and standardized problem of standard part library, were discussed in detail at first. Through introduction and comparison of several methods to build standard part library, propose the method that using UG develop language GRIP, based on the characteristic parametric modeling technology to establish the standard part library. On this basis, carry on the systematic design of standard part library structure; give each module concrete structure method. By utilizing instance, introduce the concrete method to set up three-dimensional standard part library and interface technology. Introduce the key technology that the system realizes in detail: GRIP procedure modeling, standard part model data transmission and program design of standard part library, And recommend utilizing the electronic form to assist the method to build library. Finally, introduce modeling methods of Non-standardized part by setting up involute gear parametric model and give an applied instance which a gear reducer was assembled by utilizing standard part library.
