Research On The Application Of Agile Project Management In A Company’s Software Development Project

With the popularity of mobile Internet and the rapid development of e-commerce,along with the advent of the post-epidemic era,software research and development projects have entered the VUCA era,which is characterized by variability,uncertainty,complexity and fuzziness.Therefore,software development projects are faced with shorter online timeliness,more user demands,and higher experience requirements.For the start-up team of A new form of e-commerce business like Company A,it is necessary to leave room for trial and error,take small steps in software research and development projects,and constantly iterate.Therefore,this study is mainly aimed at start-up companies such as Company A,whose business pattern and enterprise ecology are in the early construction stage.In the face of uncertain market and demand factors,how to conduct software research and development project management is discussed,so as to find out how to use agile project management methods for reference in software research and development project management for similar startup companies.The ability to deliver value quickly and respond flexibly to changes.We will improve our strategy’s fault-tolerant space,reduce resource waste,and reduce sunk costs.The research project of S e-commerce APP of Company A is taken as the research case of this paper,which is divided into two phases.The waterfall project management method was adopted in the implementation of the first phase,and specific problems such as excessively long software development cycle,low product quality and serious internal consumption of R&D resources were exposed in the management process.Therefore,this paper takes the second phase project as the research object and transforms to the agile project management model.This study combines the conditions and market environment of Company A,and applies theory to practical project scenarios based on the Scrum agile project management method.Propose organizational structure adjustment,project management process adjustment,and strengthening project management process control based on agile management methods to assist in the improvement of software development project management in Company A,and apply agile project management knowledge to propose specific solutions that meet the actual situation of Company A.Verify its rationality in actual projects by comparing project duration,project quality,and delivery value.Prove that the improved project management process has shortened the research and development cycle,ensured product quality,and increased the value of deliverables,thus obtaining a software project management process suitable for Company A.The ultimate goal of this study is to apply agile project management methods,combined with relevant practical experience,to solve the project management problems of fast changing,high-quality,and low-cost software R&D project requirements in the new era.
