All mobile phone companies are facing a tough business environment since 2007 the global economy. The volume of sales is decreased due to consumer reduced purchasing. So the business result of most of these companies turns from profit to big loss. The Smartphone gets communications, networking, and entertainment, social and other features together to stimulate consumer uses data communication which obtain the continuous income after product sale. The Apple Company's Iphone is the most successful Smartphone so far. Because Apple's user-friendly design and always consider from a user perspective view. So it's the good reference to other mobile phone companies to product the phone with the user expected requirements.Sony Ericsson also faced the tough business environment and huge losses since 2007. In order to turn around, the company decided to make Sony Ericsson development competitive. Because Requirement management cannot fulfill the needs on fast changing requirements in short time development. So Sony Ericsson proposed to improve the requirement management model which combines the advantages of requirement management suggestions in Agile and CMMI.This paper is research the possibilities that improve requirement management and practice. The first part introduces the importance of software requirements management for successful project development and the mainly problems in requirements management. It's also introduced the CMMI and Agile in requirement management area. The second part shows the current status of requirement management in Sony Ericsson and analyzes the problems. The third part gives the improved solutions, and introduces the improved requirement management process model, and the practice. The fourth part analyse the real data to measure and summarize. Finally, draw conclusions and propose how to follow up in the future.
