The advent of the information age has promoted the development of informatization in various industries.In order to conform to the times,China’s commercial banks have built a new development model of "finance+ technology" and are moving forward with a rapid development posture.However,due to the rapid changes in the financial market,in order to strengthen the regulatory capacity of the CBRC,improve the efficiency of supervision,and promote public services,the financial regulatory system is also constantly updated and changed.The new institutional innovation and the rapid development of the information and data era have put forward higher requirements for the integration of data and information resources of commercial banks,and the existing software systems of many banks are no longer enough to support the development requirements of modern enterprises,and it is necessary to transform and upgrade the previous software systems as soon as possible.Based on practical applications,this paper takes the progress management research of Bank M software system upgrade project as an example,In the process of banking software system upgrade,the application of project management theory and methods was comprehensively expounded,and the ideas and methods of schedule management were discussed in the process of comprehensive system upgrade projects with multiple supporting systems.In the process of writing this paper,the literature research method,the empirical research method and the qualitative and quantitative research method are used,that is,by collecting a large amount of literature,analyzing and refining it,combined with the real situation of the M Bank software system upgrade project,the progress management of the project is carried out,and then the qualitative and quantitative method is used to analyze and evaluate.In the process of writing,through the analysis of the progress management status of the M Bank software system upgrade project,find out the problem of project schedule out of control caused by unreasonable project schedule preparation,imperfect project development process,personnel conflicts,information asymmetry and other reasons in the process of comprehensive system upgrade and development,and based on the project schedule management theory,use WBS decomposition structure,key route method and other project management methods to draw a double code network diagram,so as to obtain key work and critical paths,and optimize the construction period.A new project schedule is obtained,and on this basis,the project schedule control is carried out so that it is carried out according to the plan,and finally the project management is evaluated by using the analytic hierarchy method and the fuzzy evaluation method to form a closed loop.It provides reference significance for various banking enterprises facing similar difficulties in the subsequent comprehensive system upgrade development and management.By combining theory and practice,this paper can not only apply the relevant theoretical knowledge and methods in project schedule management to solve various problems encountered in complex software upgrade projects;but also expand the boundaries of theoretical knowledge of project schedule management through application in real projects,and enrich its technical methods,so as to improve its universality.The research in this paper can break the barrier between theory and reality in a certain aspect,find out the integration of the two,and provide experience for more enterprises in the implementation process of similar projects in the future.
