With the continuous development of information technology and the advent of the era of big data,research on how to use scientific project schedule management methods to manage large software development projects with high complexity,unclear requirements,high risks,and long development cycles has certain practices significance.Company A is mainly engaged in the provision of software development services.During the implementation of software development projects,it often faces lag in project progress,which affects the company's reputation in the industry for many years.Analysis of the main reasons leading to the lag in progress.First of all,the project requirements are not fully understood and the work breakdown is not in place.Second,the project workload estimate is not accurate.Finally,the management and control methods used in the project execution process are not scientific.On the basis of reading a lot of literature,this article takes the management and control of the execution plan of company A and company A's operation management platform software development project and operation management platform software upgrade project as the research object,and states the project management and Theoretical knowledge of project schedule management.Then use the questionnaire survey method to investigate and analyze the problems existing in the software development projects of Company A and Company A's operation management platform.From the decomposition of project work,the estimation of project working time in the execution of software upgrade projects of Company A's operation management platform,The four aspects of project planning,project monitoring and correction are optimized.Study and use the work breakdown structure,three-point estimation method and key chain method to effectively solve the problems in project progress execution,and use the software chain monitoring model based on the key chain method and earned value method to continuously monitor the project during the software project implementation process Implementation,calculate the earned value of the critical chain and non-critical chain separately,analyze and find out the reasons for the deviation of the project schedule execution,through reasonable improvement measures to ensure that the project is completed on time and quality,effectively verify the improved project schedule management method in this article Effectiveness;Finally,this paper studies and summarizes the working methods of software development project progress management and control based on work decomposition,planning,milestone monitoring,progress monitoring,and calculation correction.At the same time,it provides organizational,technical and personnel safeguards for the project to ensure The smooth implementation and delivery of software development projects.This article believes that the project schedule management first formulates a reasonable and economical schedule,and then in the implementation of the plan,scientific monitoring methods are used to check whether the actual project schedule is consistent with the planned project schedule to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.Therefore,project schedule planning and project schedule monitoring methods are the top priority of project schedule management.Through in-depth research on the software upgrade project of company A's operation management platform,it is confirmed that the critical chain method and the earned value method can reasonably and effectively control the project cost and schedule synchronously,can dynamically monitor the project schedule in real time,and provide timely feedback on the project schedule and cost execution The situation can also provide reference and theoretical support for the progress management of Company A and other similar projects in the same industry.
