| With the continuous development of the economy and society,people no longer only pursue the prosperity of simple material life,but pay more attention to the dual health and high quality of material life and spiritual life,thus making the word "health" a topic of close attention to the public in China.In 2021,China began to enter the development period of the 14 th Five-Year Plan,which puts forward higher requirements for public health information literacy.At the same time,Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)is still continuing,which makes the public face more health problems and challenges in the future.As an important institution for information storage,dissemination,education and service,public libraries are an important part of the socialist public cultural industry.Through the development of health information literacy education in the context of the "Healthy China" strategy,it has important theoretical research significance and practical guidance value for the public to form a healthy life concept,increase the health theory knowledge reserve,and improve health information skills.Combined with the social background,policy background and theoretical background of health information literacy education,this paper analyzes the current situation of health information literacy education in provincial public libraries in China through network survey method,literature research method and content analysis method.The results show that the work done by provincial public libraries in China in health information literacy education is effective,but most libraries still have certain deficiencies in the construction of health information resources,the connotation system of health information literacy education,the talent reserve of health librarians,the quality of health information disclosure,and the gap in interlibrary development.In this regard,this paper proposes that public libraries should enrich health information collections,open access to resources,improve the education connotation system,strengthen the continuing education of librarians,introduce health professionals,standardize the information disclosure process,strengthen interlibrary cooperation and exchanges,and other related countermeasures,which will continuously promote public libraries to accelerate the pace of improving the health information literacy education system and improve the level of health information literacy education,so as to provide high-quality health information services for the public. |
