Research On Influencing Factors Of Health Information Literacy Of The Elderly

Population aging and health is a worldwide problem.The World Health Organization released the Global Report on Ageing and Health,focusing on improving the health and quality of life of older persons;The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has put forward a comprehensive strategy to promote "healthy China",and the aging of the population and health issues are the important issues it pays attention to.At present,China's aging population in the world the only more than 100 million countries,along with our country aging degree of further deepening,the elderly health problems more prominent,the elderly health information become the most needed information,the elderly health information literacy important influence on the elderly and application of health information,further influence the elderly health.In this context,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the health information literacy of the elderly.In this paper,the elderly in urban and rural areas are selected as the survey object,and the influencing factors of the health information literacy of the elderly are investigated by using the questionnaire method.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the research background and significance of the paper,sorts out relevant research results at home and abroad,and makes clear the research content,research methods and innovations of this paper.The second part explains the definition of the elderly,health literacy,health information literacy and other concepts,forming the basis of this paper;In the third part,based on the relevant theoretical basis and research results,assumptions are made from the perspective of demographic characteristics and five dimensions of health information awareness,health information acquisition,health information evaluation,health information application and health information ethics to construct the theoretical model of influencing factors of health information literacy of the elderly.In the fourth part,the question measurement items are set based on the constructed theoretical model,and the questionnaire is used to collect data,and the questionnaire is pre-investigated.The fifth part uses SPSS to test the theoretical model and research hypothesis.The results showed that gender,education level,age,income,occupation and residence had a significant impact on the health information literacy of the elderly;Health information awareness,health information access,health information evaluation,health information application and health information ethics all have a positive impact on health information literacy.Health information application has a mediating effect on health information awareness,health information acquisition,health information evaluation and health information literacy;The sixth part summarizes the research work,points out the deficiency and the future research prospect.
