| As living standards continue to rise,the Chinese people’s desire for a better life is becoming stronger and their pursuit of a high quality of healthy living is gradually increasing,leading to a growing demand for health information.People’s health awareness,stimulated by the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia outbreak,has further increased and their concern for health has reached an all-time high.In both the 19 th and 20 th National Congress reports,Comrade Xi Jinping made it clear that the implementation of building a "healthy China" is a priority.As an important public cultural institution,public libraries have the advantages of wide coverage,abundant information resources and quality service conditions.Under the requirements of the "Healthy China" strategy,public libraries must adapt to it,keep pace with the times,innovate their services,take an active role and realise more social value.So far,public libraries in China have done a lot of exploration in the area of health information services.Drawing on the existing research results,this paper constructs a five-factor system of health information service in public libraries,with health information service subject,health information service object,health information service platform,health information service mode and health information service guarantee as the elements.Through the methods of literature analysis and network survey,the health information service of public libraries in China is investigated and studied from the five dimensions of the five elements of health information service,and the effect of health information service is investigated with the help of interview method.Based on this,and drawing on the experience of literature studies and foreign public libraries,we propose that public libraries should deepen social cooperation,cultivate health librarians,conduct user research and improve the target of services,strengthen publicity and promotion,build a full matrix platform,optimize resources and innovate service forms and contents.In this regard,the study suggests that public libraries should deepen social cooperation and cultivate health librarians,conduct user research and improve service relevance,strengthen publicity and promotion,build a full matrix platform,optimize resources and innovate service forms and contents,and improve guarantee mechanisms and focus on evaluation and feedback,in order to guide public libraries nationwide to better develop health information services. |
