| With the continuous development of the aging trend of society,the number of the elderly population in China continues to grow.At the same time,the physical and mental condition of the elderly has changed greatly,and the vulnerability and dependence have increased significantly,making the health problems of the elderly group gradually become the focus of the whole society.The results of several national health literacy surveys in China all show[1]that the health literacy of the elderly is at the lowest level in all age groups in China,which has a big gap with their health needs.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out health information literacy education for the elderly,improve the health information literacy level of the elderly,and promote the healthy aging of society.As an institution providing all kinds of information services and social education to the people,public library plays an indispensable role in carrying out health information literacy education for the elderly.At present,the research on health information literacy education in public libraries in China is in the preliminary exploration stage,and health information literacy education for the elderly has only received attention from some scholars.Therefore,Based on the theory of lifelong learning,knowledge-attitude-behavior model,self-efficacy theory,mastery learning theory,by means of network and literature survey,we collected and sorted out the domestic and foreign policies,websites,libraries and existing research resources related to health information literacy for the elderly,extracted the core elements of health information literacy education for the elderly,and constructed the core elements framework of health information literacy education for the elderly.Next,using the method of interview and questionnaire survey for the elderly and public librarians to research,to understand their health information acquisition behavior,health education experience,demand and cognitive attitude for public libraries to carry out the health information literacy education,build a public library in the elderly health information literacy education system framework,content and implementation of the specific path analysis.Finally,taking the Shanxi Library as an example,this paper puts forward some specific implementation paths. |
