Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Adaptive Education For Retired College Students

Under the background of "the Chinese Dream" and "the dream of a strong army",more and more aspiring young people join the army,among which the proportion of college students is increasing year by year,and retired college students returning to school have become a relatively unique group in colleges and universities.When this group is faced with the identity transformation from "soldiers" to "students",there will be maladaptive phenomena in the living environment,curriculum learning,ideological status,interpersonal communication and personal development,which brings a series of adaptive problems to this group.In view of the common and individual problems faced by retired college students,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for adaptive education of retired college students.It can help this group adapt to the university environment as soon as possible,promote their personal growth and success,as well as the development of higher education and social stability.This study was conducted through literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview.A questionnaire survey was conducted on retired college students from four local colleges and universities in H Province,among which 40 retired college students and 4 teachers responsible for adaptive education of retired college students were interviewed.To understand the adaptive problems faced by retired college students and their reasons and the practical demand for adaptive education.The four colleges and universities have carried out adaptive education for demobilized college students,and achieved certain results.At the same time,there are also some shortcomings,such as short and concentrated education time,incomplete content,single way,insufficient cooperation between the military and colleges and universities,and ineffective education results.The main reasons lie in insufficient theoretical and practical research,insufficient attention,imperfect working mechanism,lack of adaptive education for retired college students,and imbalance of personal adjustment.As the main body of the education of retired college students,colleges and universities should actively provide supporting theme education in view of a series of adaptability problems existing in this group.In the face of this new group,we should seize the opportunity,meet the challenges,promote the ability of retired college students to improve,and then give play to the advantages of this group.Based on the analysis of the investigation results,feasible countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in terms of perfecting the content,improving the methods,exploring the ways and perfecting the guarantee mechanism,so as to encourage the retired college students to adapt to the university environment as soon as possible,complete the identity transformation,clarify the role positioning,and confirm the value of joining the army,so as to actively participate in the national defense education in universities.It plays an important role in the comprehensive development and growth of universities after retirement.
