Abstract/Summary:
Reading teaching is not only a main content and an significant part of Chinese teaching,but also one of the main ways to cultivate students’ reading ability and implement humanistic education.Reading teaching has important value in cultivating students’ accumulation of knowledge,cultivating ability,developing intelligence,stimulating people’s imagination and creativity,edifying people’s moral sentiment and shaping their spiritual character.With the implementation of the "double reduction" policy and the promultion of the new curriculum standards,the reform of reading teaching and the optimization of reading assignment design and other operation management have been paid more and more attention by the educational circle.In this study,literature,questionnaire and interview methods were adopted to investigate the situation on reading homework of S primary school in Y city.By sending questionnaires to teachers and students,we can understand the source,content,type and arrangement of reading assignment under the background of "double minus",as well as the feedback and evaluation of reading assignment.It is found that there are six problems in the current reading homework of the senior section of primary school,that is,teachers can not correctly understand the meaning and value of reading homework,ignoring the design and research of reading homework;The content of reading assignment is monotonous and lack of comprehensiveness;The types of reading homework are single,and more after-school consolidation homework is assigned,which lacks diversity.The form of reading assignment is mainly in the traditional written form,which lacks of comprehensiveness and practicality.The arrangement of reading assignment is more unified,lack of level and difference.The feedback lag and the evaluation method of reading assignment are monotonous and lack of diversity.In view of this,this study through the analysis of the causes of problems to optimize the design of reading assignment strategy.Under the background of "double reduction",S primary school needs to promote the optimization and improvement of reading homework.Teachers need to change the way of reading teaching and update the teaching idea of reading,correctly understand the value of reading homework and constantly improve the design and reflection consciousness of reading homework,improve the ability of designing reading homework.Schools should strengthen the training of primary school Chinese teachers in the design of reading homework and optimize the operation management mechanism,make good use of after-school services,enrich the carrier of students’ reading activities;Students need to change their thinking to improve their initiative in learning and completing reading assignments,and parents need to change their utilitarian education ideas from the root,stay away from utilitarian reading,cultivate children’s good reading habits,and base themselves on children’s long-term development.
