| After After the introduction of the "double reduction" policy,the issue of homework for students in compulsory education has once again become a hot topic of discussion.How to balance the relationship between homework quantity and quality has sparked educators’ thinking.Homework is an effective extension of classroom teaching,which is beneficial for exercising students’ thinking,consolidating basic knowledge and skills,and also serves as a window for teacher-student communication.Under the "double reduction" policy,teachers are required to continuously think and innovate to improve their homework design ability,follow the laws of student growth and education,and cultivate students into talents that better meet the requirements of the times.Based on questionnaire survey and interview methods,this article conducts a survey and analysis of the current situation of language and English homework assignments for students in grades 4-5-6 of Y School in Xi’an,and explores more optimization paths for homework assignments under the background of "double reduction".Research has found that the main problems in Y school currently include: a large total amount of homework,and teachers’ positioning of homework tends towards traditional knowledge orientation;The source of homework is single,and teachers’ awareness of independent design is weak;Lack of innovation in homework types and emphasis on written assignments;The feedback method for grading is single,and the evaluation concept lags behind.The author proposes targeted optimization strategies by exploring and analyzing factors such as schools,teachers,and students,thus exploring the path optimization of "improving quality and efficiency" in homework under the background of "double reduction".Firstly,schools should coordinate and establish a verifiable homework management system,strictly controlling the duration and total amount of homework;Secondly,when assigning homework,teachers should improve their ability to design homework,explore interdisciplinary,exploratory,and practical forms of homework,establish a guiding,timely,and interactive feedback mechanism for homework evaluation,and stimulate students’ endogenous learning interest and driving force;Finally,we will leverage the role of students as the main body and the emotional participation and support of parents in homework,collaborate to further implement the "double reduction" policy,and create a new ecological situation of scientific education with "double reduction". |
