With the development of communication technology and the increase of people's thinking activities,we have entered an era of information explosion and data explosion.Librarians,as one of the important objects of providing services,their personal ability and working conditions directly affect the quality of providing services and user satisfaction.Therefore,the library should strengthen the performance appraisal of the librarians,but the research on the performance appraisal of the librarians still needs to be further explored.Therefore,this study starts from optimizing the performance appraisal of M librarians and verifies it.First of all,this paper finds out the problems and difficulties existing in the research and practice by summarizing the previous studies.Secondly,on the basis of the above cognition,literature investigation and expert opinions,this paper preliminarily establishes the performance appraisal index of librarians.Then,this paper designs a questionnaire for M librarian's performance appraisal index,obtains experts' and librarians' opinions on the index through the questionnaire distribution,obtains first-hand data,combines expert opinions with survey results,and obtains the final index.Finally,this paper makes an empirical analysis on the performance of M librarians by using the constructed assessment indicators,and puts forward some suggestions according to the research results.
