In the 21 st century,the world has gradually entered the era of knowledge economy,and all knowledge starts from reading.Reading is the most effective way for individuals to obtain information and knowledge,is the core and foundation of all learning for children,and is the most direct way for children to become talents.,An effective way.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,my country has taken reading for all people as a strategic deployment.It has been written into the "Government Work Report" for 8 consecutive years(2014-2021).Reading has risen from an individual level to a national strategic level.As an important part of national reading,children's reading has naturally also ushered in a new height of development.In the era of universal reading,it is particularly important to encourage children to read and cultivate children's reading habits through reading promotion activities.In foreign countries,especially in some developed countries,children's reading has been highly valued,and children's comprehensive qualities are generally high.Under the current wave of worldwide children's reading promotion,with the development of our society,the advocacy of reading for all,and education reforms and other internal and external factors,all sectors of the society are paying more and more attention to children's reading,and a large number of reading promotion activities have flourished in various forms.,Children's reading has ushered in the spring of development,but at the same time,my country ' s children ' s reading promotion work is also facing many problems that need to be solved urgently.This article mainly uses the literature research method to study the development of children's reading promotion in my country since the new century,including an overview of the basic concepts and meanings of children's reading promotion,and the social environment background and various stages of the rise of children's reading promotion in my country at the beginning of the new century.After sorting out the promotion of children's reading,the main characteristics and trends of the development of children's reading promotion are summarized.Finally,in view of the main problems existing in the promotion of children's reading in our country,such as lack of legislative protection,imperfect infrastructure,and lack of top-level design for reading promotion,corresponding solutions are proposed.The conclusion is that children ' s reading promotion is a systematic project that requires multi-party cooperation and a breakthrough to promote reading for all.The whole society must pay attention to children 's reading and work together to create a good reading environment for children.Efforts should be made to build a children's reading culture,so that reading behavior is truly integrated into children's lives and become children's daily life.
