Under the background of actively promoting national reading,reading has gradually become a new way of life for people.In the process of rapid industrialization and urbanization in China,left-behind children in rural areas are more likely to have psychological problems or even extreme behaviors due to the lack of family care and effective guardanship.Their spiritual world should be paid attention to.Reading is a key to open the spiritual world of rural left-behind children.Reading can not only enrich the real life of left-behind children,let them understand the unknown world,absorb spiritual food,but also help them to broaden their long-term vision and set up ambitious goals.However,due to the relative imbalance of educational resources in rural areas,the lack of family education function,and many psychological problems of left-behind children,the improvement of the reading status of left-behind children in rural areas is faced with multiple challenges.In 2019,China conducted its first survey of left-behind children in rural areas,and found that the central and western regions are home to 610,000 left-behind children,while the number in Anhui Province is around 610,000.Therefore,in view of this situation,this paper investigates the 7 areas(Yongqiao District,Lingbi County,Dangshan County,Jinzhai County,Feixi County,Qingyang County and Qianshan County)in Anhui Province where there are relatively more left-behind children in the countryside,and conducts a random sample survey on 567 left-behind children in the countryside.This paper analyzes the reading needs,reading facilities and reading channels of left-behind children,and finds the following problems: weak reading culture foundation and weak reading awareness;Single type of reading,lack of interest in reading;Reading hardware facilities are backward,personnel professional quality is insufficient;The content resources construction is insufficient,the content resources integration lags behind and so on many problems.In view of the above problems,this study breaks out of the limitation that many scholars take library as the single service subject,and puts forward four forms of cooperation subject: + peasant bookstore "library","publishing organization + town bookstore","network platform + parent-school joint" and "public welfare organization+ rural organizations at the grass-roots level",novel and comprehensive,to stay reading a lack of awareness,poor reading place,reading problems such as lack of professional guidance,improve the rural left-behind children reading service in the region made the feasibility of the strategy.
