With the continuous development of economy,people's demand for spiritual and cultural aspects is also increasing.As an important part of the public cultural service system,more and more people participate in the volunteer service team of public libraries.With the development of library volunteer service,how to give full play to the role of volunteers and motivate volunteers to realize their social value to the greatest extent has become the focus of the development of volunteer service.China's public library volunteer activities are relatively late,there are still many problems in the construction of volunteers,especially in the aspect of volunteer incentive,many public libraries lack of incentive awareness of volunteers,incentive measures are single.In terms of policies,although a series of national and local policies have been launched to clarify the rights and obligations of volunteers,there are still insufficient regulations in terms of incentives.In the industry,some public libraries also have a wrong understanding of volunteers,resulting in a lack of incentive investment.The inadequacy of incentive hinders the development of voluntary service activities of public libraries in China.Through online research,this article has a preliminary understanding of China's public library volunteer activities to carry out projects and incentive measures;through interviews with public library volunteers and volunteer management personnel,in-depth understanding of the specific situation and incentive measures of public library volunteer activities The implementation of the situation;combined with the previous incentive status,it is found that there are problems in public library volunteer incentives such as unscientific internal incentive mechanisms,insufficient training,a single source of volunteers,and the instability of the volunteer team.Attitudes,management systems,role positioning deviations and mismatches between work content and volunteer needs analyze the reasons for motivation problems.It also proposes corresponding improvement measures for volunteer incentives from the three perspectives of the public library's external,internal,and volunteers.External incentives are to improve the external incentive environment from the three aspects of society,system and industry;internal incentives propose specific incentive measures from the internal operating environment of public libraries and the needs of volunteers;volunteer self-motivation is from self-learning,Self-improvement and self-evaluation are three aspects to encourage volunteers to participate in library volunteer activities.The above-mentioned improvement countermeasures are put forward,hoping to effectively prevent and solve the same problems,and promote the development of public library volunteer services.
