In the rapid development of knowledge and technology today,people’s spiritual needs are growing, and access ways have continued toincrease.. Hidden treasures of the human spirit as a great library, thelibrary has always played an irreplaceable role. The size of the library isalso more tightly pace with the times and continues to grow, graduallyincreasing the amount of books, library staff also improved the overallquality. Library in thought and system transformation makes greatprocess. How to adapt to the market economy, and what the library todo?So the first question we must consider is how to effectively motivatelibrarians, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of their work. However, thecurrent Bayannaoer City librarian incentive has not received enoughattention, there are still many problems, this paper is aimed at theBayannaoer city library situation, as the librarian "tailored" for theirincentives. Take the small library in Bayannaoer city as an example, thevarious incentive theory as the guide, combined with the characteristics ofincentive system of librarians and the library at present are summarized,then the combination of documentary analysis, expert consultationmethod, statistics method, data collection method and other researchmethods, find out Bayannaoer City librarian incentive system existing problems, and aimed at these questions to improve, on this basis to builda set of suitable incentive system for Bayannaoer City librarian. Thissystem to incentive pay and non pay incentive as the starting point,including the salary incentive, incentive, training incentive performanceappraisal, occupation development incentive, participation motivation,emotional care incentive, to mobilize the enthusiasm. The main researchresults of this paper is: according to the characteristics and currentsituation of the library of Bayannaoer City, the content made thefollowing improvement: on the one hand, optimizes the original salarysystem, the salary incentive increased librarians pay to performance, andincrease the self-help welfare projects, giving the independent choice ofwelfare projects librarian to a certain degree of right, on the basis of theoriginal performance appraisal index, improved the Bayannaoer citylibrary original performance appraisal system, effectively motivatelibrarians work. In addition, this paper strengthens the spirit incentive, tomeet the spiritual needs of the librarians to improve their job satisfaction.In short, this article mainly from the salary incentive system, performanceevaluation system and the non salary motivation system three aspects, toconstruct a fully meet the librarian demand in Bayannaoer, the newincentive system. Sincerely hope that through the effectiveimplementation of the incentive system in the library of Bayannaoer City, Bayannaoer City, can stimulate the maximum librarians workingenthusiasm, the library do better.
