Volunteers are people or groups who voluntarily engage in social welfare undertakings based on morality,conviction,conscience,compassion and responsibility.The introduction of volunteer services in the public library community in China is relatively late,and there are few related theoretical and practical studies.However,the practice of volunteer service in the public cultural service industry is urgently needed to carry out such research.Therefore,the current research is in line with the development needs of public cultural undertakings and it has practical significance.This paper takes eight public libraries in Hefei area(district level and above)as survey samples,and comprehensively uses literature survey method and network survey method to carry out work,and deeply understand the current situation of volunteer management in public libraries in Hefei are,and analyze Hefei Regional public library volunteer management is currently effective.Taking the three public libraries in Hefei as an example,using case analysis method and comparative research method to conduct case analysis,mainly from the recruitment survey,training and education,service content,evaluation and commendation of public library volunteers,and analyzing Hefei The elements and internal links of the regional public library volunteer management mechanism provide reference for the volunteer management of public libraries in Hefei,and provide experience and methods for the management of volunteers in other public libraries.Finally,the problems found in the investigation are put forward,and reasonable solutions are proposed to solve the problems,in order to improve the theory and practice of volunteer management in public libraries in China.This paper mainly includes the following five aspects:The first chapter is the introduction,puts forward the research background and significance,then summarizes the research status at home and abroad,the main concept definition,thinking framework,research methods and innovation points.The second chapter introduces the practice investigation and analysis of volunteer management of public libraries in Hefei.Utilizing network surveys,interviews and field trips,summarizes the basic information of the management of volunteers in public libraries in Hefei,including the contents and information acquisition channels of volunteer recruitment,volunteer service requirements,volunteer training,volunteer service contents,the evaluation and recognition of volunteer service,and analyzes the current effect of the management.The third chapter is the case investigation analysis of Hefei area.Using field trips and in-depth interviews,the Hefei Children's Library,Feixi County Library,and Hefei Binhu Century Community Library were used as examples,from volunteer recruitment,volunteer training,volunteer service,volunteer evaluation and recognition.This paper analyzes the management status of volunteers and summarizes the characteristics and internal links of the library volunteer management mechanism.The fourth chapter is a summary of the problems and reasons in the management of volunteers in public libraries in Hefei.By means of the literature survey method and in-depth interview method,it analyzes the five aspects of volunteer recruitment and training,volunteer spirit cultivation,volunteer legal guarantee system,volunteer operation mode and volunteer incentive measures,and summarizes the causes of problems in management.The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement and improvement of the volunteer management mechanism in the public library of Hefei from five perspectives:volunteer recruitment,training of volunteers,cultivation of volunteer spirit,volunteer legal guarantee system,volunteer operation mode and volunteer incentive measures.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,summarizing the research results of this paper,expounding the research shortage and the follow-up research prospect.
