Research On Volunteer Service Of Public Libraries In Fujian Province

Volunteer service refers to the service work of anyone who voluntarily contributes personal time,energy and skills to promote social development and progress based on conscience,belief,morality and social responsibility.In recent years,with the continuous progress of society,people's demand for spiritual culture has increased day by day,and volunteer services have received high attention from people.More and more people are willing to join the volunteer services of public libraries.However,Compared with public libraries in foreign countries and Hong Kong and Taiwan regions,the volunteer services of public libraries in China's mainland are relatively backward in terms of the construction of laws and regulations and the service mechanism.Therefore,How to scientifically develop volunteer services and how to effectively improve Volunteer service is a problem that public libraries in China's mainland need to think about and solve.This article takes Fujian Provincial Public Libraries as the research object,Comprehensively use research methods such as literature research method,field survey method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods to carry out survey work and gain a deeper understanding of the status of volunteer services in public libraries in Fujian Province.Based on the related theoretical research,a questionnaire survey was conducted for library volunteers,and interviews were conducted with library staff.The results of the survey analyzed the problems of volunteer services in public libraries in Fujian Province,and put forward improvement strategies and suggestions for corresponding problems,with a view to improving the volunteer service of public libraries in Fujian Province.This article mainly includes six aspects: The first part is the introduction.The introduction introduces the research background,research significance,domestic and international research status,research content,research methods and innovations of this topic;The second part is the related concepts and theories of volunteer services in public libraries,and introduces the concepts and theories related to volunteer service in detail;The third part is a survey of the status of volunteer services in public libraries in Fujian Province.Questionnaire surveys were conducted on volunteers,and interviews were conducted with library volunteer managers.With a view to a more objective understanding of the actual situation of volunteer services in public libraries in Fujian Province;The fourth part is to analyze the problems existing in the volunteer service of public libraries in Fujian Province,not only at the library level,but also at the social level and the volunteer level,making the final conclusions of this study more specific and comprehensive;The fifth part is the strategy for improving the volunteer service of public libraries in Fujian Province.According to the problems and deficiencies found in the fourth part,the corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward.The sixth part is the research conclusions and prospects,summarize the research results of this article,and look forward to the follow-up research.
