A Study On The Frameework Of News Report On The Management Of Mu Us Desert

Land desertification is a major ecological problem affecting human survival and development.On September 11,2017,the 13 th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification adopted the Ordos Declaration.The successful experience of desertification prevention and control in the Mu Us Desert attracted a lot of attention and reports from the media.Based on the theoretical perspectives of frame theory and discourse analysis,this paper analyzes the characteristics of news reports on Mu Us Desert governance,discusses what kind of reporting frame the media has constructed in the reporting process,and how the news picture of Mu Us Desert governance is presented.The results show that the news reports on the governance of the Mu Us Desert adopt a reporting framework of "main body narrative--identity construction--social mobilization",and record the governance process of the Mu Us Desert from three dimensions of reporting topics,narrative structure and text rhetoric.In terms of topics,the paper presents the ideas,trends and achievements of desertification control in Mu Us Desert from four aspects: practice,achievement,spirit and concept of desertification control,and shows the Mu Us people's spirit of "driving without ceasing and making lasting efforts" to the audience.In terms of narrative structure,it presents a relatively fixed "plot framework" and "topic framework".By restoring the picture of desertification control in Mu Us Desert,it expresses the media's recognition and support for the achievements and significance of Mu Us Desert control.At the level of text rhetoric,through the flexible use of words,sentence patterns and rhetoric,the spiritual connotation of the Mu Us Desert governance is conveyed,the role of media in social mobilization and public opinion guidance is exerted,the concept of environmental protection is transmitted,and the attention of the society to the desert governance issue is enhanced.
