Investigation And Research On Subject Services Of University Libraries In Guizhou Province

Subject service is the development of the university library to adapt to new environment and the service,under the new information environment,subject service has become a measure of an important factor of university library service level,and the emerging of service for the library and readers is of milestone significance,it can improve the quality of library services,library better and faster development,helping improve the comprehensive competitiveness of colleges and universities.This study selected the guizhou public 19 undergraduate university library as the research object,using online survey to understand first of guizhou university library to carry out a general idea of the subject service,again for a number of colleges and universities in the field and questionnaire investigation,in-depth understanding,found that the existing problems,and put forward countermeasures in view of the problem,for the development of guizhou university library subject service provide decision-making and reference.This research adopts the research idea of "theoretical research +practical investigation + summary analysis" to analyze and discuss from seven aspects:The first part: introduction.This part roughly introduces the background,significance and current situation of this research at home and abroad,and puts forward the innovation points,research contents and methods of this research.The second part: the introduction of the theory,this part puts forward the connotation,characteristics and mode of the subject service in the university library,expounds the important role of developing the subject service,and lays a theoretical foundation for the investigation and research.The third part: the analysis of typical cases at home and abroad,exploring its reference value and practical enlightenment.The fourth part: the investigation and research of the current situation.Firstly,the author conducts a preliminary investigation and research on the libraries of 19 public universities in guizhou province,and through the research on the Internet and literature,the author understands the general situation of the service progress of each library in guizhou universities.Then,field and interview surveys were conducted on the libraries of 7 universities that put forward the subject service,mainly investigating and analyzing the construction of the subject service system,the status of subject librarians,the specific implementation contents of subject service and the construction of subject resources.At last,a questionnaire survey is carried out to analyze the usersatisfaction of some university library subjects.The fifth part: the analysis of the influence of the existing problems and factors,through the above study found that the existing problems,and mainly include subject librarian professional talent shortage,loss of subject service system,service depth and influence is not enough,disciplines,low customer satisfaction of several major issues,and these problems respectively from three aspects such as the leadership,librarians and users influence factors are discussed.The sixth part: countermeasure discussion.Based on the current situation,this part puts forward the corresponding development countermeasures for the development of subject service in guizhou university libraries by centering on the problems raised and combining with the Suggestions of subject users.The seventh part: summary and prospect,first to the full text of the content of the comb summary,and then to the paper writing process of the shortcomings of the analysis,finally put forward the prospect.
