Subject Librarian system came of research libraries in USA In 1981,Carnegie Mellon Universtiy library started to provide track service.Tsinghua University library took the lead in building Subject Librarian system in China in 1998.Through 10 year's development,Subject Librarian systems were built up in succession following the lead of Tsinghua in many other university libraries in China.This paper has a literature analysis and synthesis to the Subject Librarian situation at home and abroad.And campared to the perfect management of the subject librarian,certification system and evaluation index system in foreign countries,Domestic is still at the exploratory stage. In particular,Domestic is the lack of a complete subject librarian service quality evaluation system.In this paper,through literature review and survey research methods,subject librarian at home and abroad on the current performance appraisal methods are summarized.Through the analysis and comparison of the commonly:used approach to performance appraisal in the management study,this paper selects the evaluation method of subject librarian for our status.This paper determines 360-degree feedback evaluation method,and follows the SMART principle,and establishes four aspects and nineteen correspond evaluation indexes.This paper applies the simplified analysis method to determine the level of index weight,and calculates the final weighted summation of the Subject Librarian service quality in individual and team scores,therefore this paper sets up a complete set of the subject librarian service quality evaluation system.Work units where the author of Shenyang Normal University Library is the subject librarian to carry out relatively early in a unit of job.Now it enters into a development bottleneck stage,and need to set up a set of practical quality of service evaluation system to effectivly supervise and manage the Subject Librarian,and to encourage subject librarian to play a greater enthusiasm and passion Services,and to better teaching and research for the School Service.Therefore,the Library uses the theoretical foundation of Subject Librarian Service quality evaluation system,and combines the actual situation in Shenyang Normal University,and sets up the "subject librarian performance appraisal rules." The author verifies the scientific and feasibility of the appraisal rules through the analysis of two subject librarians assessment results, and discusses the inadequacies of its.
